DIRECTORATE GENERAL EXCISE & TAXATION, PUNJAB JOBS
Competent Authority, Excise & Taxation Punjab intends to hire services of Private Legal Counsel. Applications are invited from suitable, qualified & experienced Law professionals for Commercial Arbitration engagement as Private Counsel.
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:
LL.B (preferable LL.M / Bar at Law) from a well reputed National / International University.
Advocate High Court/Supreme Court with at least 10 years practice. Age 40 to 55 years. A citizen of Pakistan. Stationed in Lahore.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
Candidates having practice in the field of Corporate Law, Civil Law, Criminal Law shall remain available as & when required by ETNCD to get expert opinion on Commercial Arbitration matters. Experience of legislative drafting.
Understanding of Govt. Legal Procedures.
Excellent Communication skills both spoken & written.
Experience of vetting legal documents and agreements / contracts.
Ability to meet work deadlines & handle multiple concurrent / activities.
PAY PACKAGE:
Negotiable. The retainership period shall be
specifically for the period of Arbitration
DURATION AND TERMINATION:

The engagement will only be as private counsel for the
Arbitration matter and can be terminated on one week prior notice by either
party.
